Paris and Brussels, January 21st 2015 – Voltalia (Euronext Paris: VLTSA), a renewable energy-based electricity producer, announces today the completion of the private placement opened on January 15th 2015 to French and European institutional investors. The placement was backed by investment company Korys, which holds 1.43% of the share capital, and raised a total of EUR15,350,019 for EUR8.60 per share, giving Voltalia new financial resources to ramp up its development.
Bryan, Garnier & Co acted as Joint Lead Manager and Joint Bookrunner of the private placement.

With the private placement, Voltalia aims to finance in 2015/2016 :
– the acceleration in the company’s development through the launch of Voltalia in three new geographic regions by the end of 2015 (up to appr. €5 million) and the setting up of a specific site in Morocco from January 2015, and
– for the remaining, eventual strategic acquisitions to complete its portfolio of projects underway or accelerate the company’s expansion to new countries.
