PARIS, March 5th, 2014 – Bryan, Garnier & Co, the independent pan-European Investment bank focusing on growth companies, announces today the disposal of Les Numériques, the first French online media dedicated to High-Tech products, to FLCP, a leading French media Group. Through this transaction, FLCP acquires a majority stake in Les Numériques.
Bryan, Garnier & Co acts as exclusive financial advisor to the sellers.
Factory Eleven, the parent company of Les Numériques, has sold a majority stake to FLCP, an entrepreneurial private investment company specialized in media and communication, in order to benefit from its expertise and foster the company’s growth.
This association aims to accelerate the development of Factory Eleven while consolidating its expertise as the reference media for high-tech content, notably in comparative testing and review of high-tech products.
The acquisition by FLCP of a controlling stake in Les Numériques will enable the exit of minority shareholders, such as HardWare.fr, Capital & Dirigeants Partenaires and other individual investors, some of them have supported the company since its inception. The transaction will also provide Factory Eleven with significant means for its future development.
The founders, Vincent Alzieu, Mathias Lallement and Florent Alzieu, will continue to hold a significant stake in Factory Eleven and will remain fully involved in the management and development of the company.
Mr Vincent Alzieu, the President of Factory Eleven, stated: “I am delighted to announce this association with FLCP, who shares our values of editorial quality and independence, and a common vision of the future of Les Numériques”.
