Bryan, Garnier & Co advised COFELY for the sale of FIGENAL to AIR LIQUIDE

Paris, October 26, 2012 – AIR LIQUIDE completes the acquisition of COFELY’s stake in FIGENAL. Bryan, Garnier & Co acted as exclusive advisor to COFELY.
FIGENAL operates a cogeneration natural gas unit in its establishment located in Fos sur Mer on the LYONDELL site. It provides, on one hand high-pressure steam for LYONDELL’s purposes and on the other hand, electricity that is sold to EDF. The plant was started in December 1999.
CHP (Combined Heat and Power) is one of the most effective techniques for the use of fossil fuels and renewable energy.
This disposal is part of COFELY assets’ reorganization while it remains interested to pursue its development in this sector.
