The market for CAD/CAM dental prosthetics has been growing rapidly, with strong demand from major dental industry players that have a strategic interest in the field.
Acquirer Heraeus Dental is part of the Heraeus Group, a precious metals and technology holding company based in Hanau, Germany.

The acquisition strengthens Heraeus’ presence in the Northern European dental market and expands its patent and product portfolio in digital implant prosthetics.
Bryan, Garnier & Co advised Biomain AB in conjunction with Stockholm-based Experia Corporate Finance Advisors AB.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but Swedish press reports indicate the valuation was in excess of SEK200 million.
