Kenda is a specialized manufacturer of silicone polishing instruments for dentistry applications. Established in Liechtenstein in 1977, Kenda manufactures high-precision rotating polishing instruments for both dentistry and dental laboratory applications. Its polishers are available as autoclavable versions for multi-patient use and as single-patient polishers for one-time use.
The two companies are located close to one another, with headquarters in Switzerland and Liechtenstein respectively.

Bryan, Garnier & Co advised Coltene on the acquisition, which sees Kenda’s business integrated into Coltene’s Rotary Instruments product group, expanding the current offering of diamond and carbide burs.
