Bryan, Garnier & Co advises Credit Agricole on the disposal of FIA-NET to Oney, creating the French leader in online trust and anti-fraud solutions

Paris, September 9th, 2016 – Bryan, Garnier & Co has advised Crédit Agricole Group, on the disposal of FIA-NET, the French leader in e-commerce trust and anti-fraud solutions. By acquiring this activity and combining it with its well recognized online security solution SELLsecure, Oney aims at becoming a world leader in online trust and security. 

The joint offer of SELLsecure and FIA-NET brings together an unmatched user base and unique expertise, thus strengthening Oney’s leading position in the French Market. The complementarity of both solutions will enable e-merchants to enhance customer journey fluidity and thus improve conversion rates.

Since its launch in 2000, FIA-NET provides innovative services and trust solutions for e-commerce players. The company has developed 3 key products: Certissim, “Sceau de Confiance” FIA-NET, and TULIPE, an official document fraud prevention tool. FIA-NET employs 120 people in France and is currently focusing its R&D efforts on machine learning.

Launched in 2012, Oney Tech is a subsidiary of Oney which commercializes SELLsecure, a recognized brand in online payment security. Headquartered in France, with a presence in Belgium and Spain, its offering is based on three key products, highly recognized by the market: SELLsecure Global (Internet transaction scoring), SELLsecure ID (Click & Collect security) and SELLsecure Review, a recent solution dedicated to merchants.
