PARIS, December 15th, 2016 – Bryan Garnier & Co advises MyStudioFactory, one of the top French digital strategy and implementation firms on its sale to Webhelp, leading global customer experience and business process outsourcing (BPO) provider.
MyStudioFactory is a market leader in designing and implementing mobile UX solutions and app development serving clients such as L’Oreal, Crédit Agricole, Louis Vuitton and Air France. The creation of the partnership will allow MyStudioFactory to ensure that Webhelp can offer a seamless digital customer experience solution to its clients.
The transaction reflects a growing market trend in the two sectors of digital communication and BPO towards consolidation and strategic partnerships. Mature digital agencies, with a sound management team and a solid client portfolio, are partnering and often acquired by larger corporates allowing them to accelerate their development locally or abroad.
The acquisition is in line with Webhelp’s strategy of growing geographically and by sector expertise and is the 10th agreement the company has made in 24 months. Headquartered in Paris, the company has experienced massive growth in its revenues by more than 250% in the last 4 years by investing in its people and developing its analytical and operating capability to address the challenges of an omnichannel world.
The existing management of MyStudioFactory, Guillaume Bonneault, CEO, and Belaïd Moucer, Co-Founder will remain at the helm of the business. Guillaume commented: “Working with the Bryan Garnier team provided invaluable market intelligence and allowed us to obtain different options from several acquirers from very different segments. Owing to the level of interest shown during the process from potential bidders, this confirmed to us that MyStudioFactory is a central player in the market. I am excited by the prospect of working with Webhelp to develop the digital customer experience solutions we can together offer their clients.”
Mathieu Bouin, Head of Strategy, Webhelp said: “We know it is increasingly important to our clients to offer them a seamless, end-to-end, omnichannel solution to meet their customer experience requirements. We are proud of our ability to provide cutting edge solutions, and by adding MyStudioFactory to the Webhelp family, we will be able to take advantage of their expertise in the fields of mobile UX, augmented reality and app development.”
Guillaume Nathan, Partner at Bryan, Garnier & Co commented: “This was a very challenging transaction to be leading, fully reflecting the current market dynamics as well as clearly demonstrating Webhelp’s ambition in this segment. This is our third transaction in the digital space over the year (Protèines sold to Equinoa, Netino sold to Webhelp) and proves our expertise in this market.”
